The work location is in Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours 

per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

Reporting to the Underground Mine Supervisor, the Rehabilitation Miner is responsible for operating a bolter to 

perform underground rehabilitation work and prepare production headings. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Perform rehabilitation work in underground drifts to ensure ground stability and safety.  

• Install collar support systems in accordance with established procedures.  

• Install cable bolts for ground support in production headings.  

• Perform ground support installation, including plates, bearing plates, work platforms, and other support components.  

• Inspect assigned equipment before and after each shift.  

• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor, as required 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.  

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).  

• Diploma in Drilling or relevant experience in a similar position.  

• Valid General Explosives Permit.  

• Possess the FMTM Mining Modules 1 to 5 and 7.  

• Competency in operating a MacLean bolter.  

• Due to frequent interaction with English-speaking team members, bilingualism (French/English) is 

considered an asset to facilitate internal communications.
