The Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services (NRBHSS), incorporated under the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement
(section 15) as well as the Act respecting health services and social services, covers the entire territory located north of the 55th parallel.
Its mission is to adapt health and social services programs to the population’s needs and the region’s realities and to ensure efficient
organization of the resources made available to the Nunavik region.
The regional board seeks to fill the following position:

MANAGEMENT AND SERVICE: EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT, #60001, EXECUTIVE ADM
DESCRIPTION
Under the authority of the Executive Director, the Administrative Technician ensures the efficient operation of
the executive office and provides administrative and clerical support to Executive Management and
departmental staff. The position contributes to the smooth operation of activities by ensuring an effective,
rigorous, and confidential organization of files and communications.
Your responsibilities also include:
• Assist Executive Management with the coordination and management of schedules, meetings, and
administrative communications;
• Coordinate the receipt, processing, and organization of emails;
• Propose and implement administrative processes and systems to optimize operations;
• Monitor operations and ensure their smooth and efficient execution;
• Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure coordination and effective process management;
• Update administrative procedures, forms, and documentation;
• Provide clerical support to departmental staff, including the preparation, formatting, and follow-up of various
administrative documents;
• Take notes during selected meetings and prepare meeting minutes, summaries, and other required
documentation;
• Plan and coordinate the logistics related to travel and business trips for Executive Management and team
members (reservations, accommodation, transportation, documentation, etc.);
• Perform various secretarial duties that contribute to the administrative efficiency of Executive Management;
• Apply established confidentiality standards and administrative procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
• For candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement, a combination of
relevant experience and education may be considered;
• Must hold a Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in General Administration, Accounting and Management
Techniques, Office Technology, or another relevant college-level discipline from an institution recognized by
the competent ministry, or a Diploma of College Studies (DCS) combined with a relevant undergraduate
university certificate, or a relevant Attestation of College Studies (ACS) of 800 hours or more combined with
relevant experience in the targeted field. This position also includes individuals who hold a College
Certificate in Administrative Techniques;
• Relevant experience in administrative support or executive secretarial functions, particularly in the health or
social services sector;
• Excellent organizational, planning, and priority management skills;
• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written French and English. Knowledge of Inuktitut will be considered an
important asset;
• Discretion, autonomy, and a strong sense of responsibility;
• Strong knowledge of administrative practices, information systems, budget management, and IT tools;
• Ability to develop and use tools for monitoring, managing, and sharing information;
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, high-quality administrative
documents;
• Adaptability and sensitivity to the cultural and logistical realities of Nunavik or other remote regions.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• Interviews will potentially take place during the week of March 16, 2026;
• Work location: Position based in Kuujjuaq.

WORKING CONDITIONS
• Permanent full-time position (35 hours/week);
• Day shift;
• Salary according to the conditions of the MSSS and the qualifications of the candidate ($27.07/hr to
$36.14/hr).
