The Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services (NRBHSS), established under the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement

(Section 15) and the Act Respecting Health Services and Social Services, covers the entire territory north of the 55th parallel. Its mission is

to adapt health and social services programs to the needs of the population and the realities of the region, while ensuring the efficient

organization of the resources available to Nunavik.

The NRBHSS is seeking to fill the following permanent position:

Administrative Technician - Logistics Posting 2026-060

DIRECTORATE: ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES

DESCRIPTION

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Administrative Services, you will play a central role in

coordinating and supporting logistical operations. Your organizational skills and collaborative approach will

contribute to the smooth delivery of administrative activities and the quality of services provided.

Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing and formatting various official documents (memoranda, letters, resolutions, etc.);

• Planning and coordinating meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, drafting meeting minutes, and following up on decisions;

• Managing the Transportation Management System (TMS) platform for booking airline tickets, hotel accommodations, and transit stays;

• Coordinating the logistics of goods and services, including transportation services in Kuujjuaq, accommodation management, and housekeeping service planning;

• Managing inventories of transit and housing-related supplies, including key control and the activation or disconnection of utility services;

• Working closely with external partners to ensure the efficient delivery of logistical services;

• Providing quality customer service to internal departments and ensuring attentive and proactive

administrative support;

• Supporting colleagues during vacation periods to ensure continuity of operations;

• Assisting with the organization and monitoring of material resources while ensuring that procurement needs are met efficiently;

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and the maintenance of service quality.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in General Administration, Accounting and Management

Technology, Office Systems Technology, or another appropriate college discipline from a recognized

educational institution, or a DEC combined with a relevant undergraduate university certificate, or a relevant

Attestation of College Studies (AEC) of 800 hours or more combined with relevant experience in the field;

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in logistics or administrative support;

• For candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement, a combination of

relevant education and experience may be considered;

• Must hold a valid driver's licence;

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;

• Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness;

• Proficiency with office software applications (Microsoft Office Suite);

• Experience working in the Nunavik region is considered an asset;

• Good understanding of Nunavik's sociocultural context and Inuit culture is considered an asset;

• Proficiency in at least two (2) of the three (3) languages used in the region: Inuktitut, English, or French.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Please note that interviews may take place during the week of August 10, 2026;

• Home base: Position based in the north (Kuujjuaq).

Candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement will be given priority.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Permanent full-time position (35 hours per week);

• Day shift;

• Salary according to MSSS conditions and the candidate's qualifications ($27.75/hour to $37.04/hour).

Northern Benefits: Employees who relocate to Nunavik may be eligible for various northern benefits, including

an attraction and retention premium, an isolation premium, and a food transportation allowance. For those hired

from locations more than 50 km from Kuujjuaq, subsidized housing is provided, along with reimbursement of

moving and storage expenses. In addition, annual personal travel between Kuujjuaq and the point of hire is

included, along with other benefits.
