The Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services (NRBHSS), incorporated under the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement (section 15) as well as the Act respecting health services and social services, covers the entire territory located north of the 55th parallel. Its mission is to adapt health and social services programs to the population’s needs and the region’s realities and to ensure efficient organization of the resources made available to the Nunavik region.

MANAGEMENT AND SERVICE:
HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, #8526, REGIONAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT SERVICE
DESCRIPTION
Under the authority of the Director of Human Resources and the coordinator of human resources, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks of a technical nature, in accordance with established methods and procedures for the human resources development. The incumbent provides the administrative support required for the team, while contributing to the improvement of existing processes.
They may be required to collaborate on administrative file management, produce and analyze data, support business planning, and participate in the preparation of reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide administrative support to the department’s managers and the human resources development team;
• Coordinate travel logistics for HR Department managers;
• Prepare a variety of high-level documents, reports, statistics, and presentations;
• Contribute to document management and filing;
• Assist in organizing meetings and drafting minutes;
• Prepare various documents, reports, statistics, and presentations;

• Provide support for accountability and planning processes;
• Perform any other related tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
• Must have a college diploma in general administration, accounting and management techniques, office automation techniques or another appropriate college discipline from a school recognized by the relevant ministry, or a college diploma combined with a relevant undergraduate university certificate, or a relevant attestation of college studies of eight hundred hours or more combined with experience relevant to the target field;
• For candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement, a combination of relevant experience and education may be considered;
• Professional experience in a position related to human resources management, with significant experience in human resources development would be an asset;
• Excellent command of spoken and written French; knowledge of English is an asset;
• Bilingualism required in two (2) of the three (3) languages used in Nunavik (English, Inuktitut, French);
• Rigor, organizational skills, and autonomy;
• Discretion and respect for confidentiality;
• Ability to manage priorities;
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Interpersonal communication skills;
• Computer skills in Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Logibec.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• Interviews will be conducted during the week of September 1st, 2025;
• Location in the North is prioritized; however, telework from the South is possible depending on operational needs.
Candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement shall receive priority.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Permanent position;
• Full-time 35 hours/week;
• Day shift;
• Salary according to the conditions of the MSSS and the qualifications of the candidate ($27.07 to $36.14/ hours).
