The Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services (NRBHSS), established under the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement
(Chapter 15) and the Act Respecting Health Services and Social Services, covers all territory located north of the 55th parallel. Its mission
is to adapt health and social service programs to the needs of the population and the realities of the region, while ensuring the effective
organization of resources made available to the Nunavik region.
The Regional Board is seeking to fill the following full-time position:

DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Information Technology Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for the lending of
audiovisual equipment, the distribution of materials, and the maintenance of their inventory. You will also assist
technical and professional staff with the installation and maintenance of computer system components and
audiovisual equipment. In addition, you will provide first-level technical support to users regarding software,
office equipment, and standard audiovisual equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
• For candidates who are beneficiaries under the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement, an equivalent
combination of relevant education and experience may be considered;
• Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Electronics Technology with a specialization in Audiovisual Technology
from an institution recognized by the appropriate ministry, or a relevant Attestation of College Studies (AEC)
of 800 hours or more combined with relevant experience in the field;
• Similar experience in this type of position will be considered a significant asset.
COMPETENCIES
• Good spoken and written knowledge of two (2) of the three (3) languages used in the region (Inuktitut,
English, and French);
• Good computer skills;
• Demonstrated customer-oriented attitude, resourcefulness, and strong organizational skills;
• Ability to provide first-level technical support to users;
• Ability to install, configure, and maintain computer and audiovisual equipment;
• Ability to efficiently manage equipment inventory and lending services;
• Excellent customer service and communication skills;
• Ability to diagnose and resolve common technical issues;
• Attention to detail, autonomy, and organizational skills;
• Ability to work as part of a team in a constantly evolving environment;
• Available to work evenings and weekends as required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• Please note that interviews may be held during the week of September 7, 2026, or September 14, 2026;
• Work location: Position based in Kuujjuaq.
Priority will be given to candidates who are beneficiaries under the James Bay and Northern Quebec
Agreement.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Permanent full-time position (35 hours per week);
• Day shift, Monday to Friday;
• Salary according to MSSS regulations and the candidate’s qualifications ($26.92/hour to $33.68/hour).
Northern Benefits: Employees who settle in Nunavik may be eligible for various allowances, including a retention
allowance, an isolation allowance, and a cost-of-living allowance. Employees hired from locations more than 50
km from Kuujjuaq are provided with subsidized housing and reimbursement of moving and storage expenses. In
addition, annual personal trips between Kuujjuaq and the point of hire are included, along with other benefits.
