About CSI
The Inuulitsivik Health and Social Services Centre (CSI) is dedicated to improving the health, well-being, and living conditions of Inuit communities by providing accessible and integrated services. CSI employs over 1,100 staff and serves a population of 8,000 people across seven communities from Kuujjuarapik to Salluit along Hudson Bay. Additionally, CSI manages Ullivik, a facility located in Dorval that accommodates Inuit traveling south for specialized care.

Employment Conditions:
Salary:
• Between $26.38 and $35.22 per hour based on experience.

Nordic Premiums and Other Conditions:
• Isolation premium:
o Without dependents: $221.92 to $261.79 per week
o With dependents: $391.18 to $461.52 per week, depending on the village.
• Retention premium:
o For health and social services professionals: $139.13 to $272.48 per week, depending on village and seniority.
• High cost of living premium: Between $58.40 and $188.72 per week, based on the village.

Available Opportunities:
• Full-time or temporary positions, day or evening shifts with potential on-call duties at night.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assistance, support, and guidance to users.
• Act as a cultural liaison and interpreter between users and services.
• Direct users to appropriate services.

Requirements:
Language Skills:
• Bilingualism (French and English)
• Inuktitut is essential
Other Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license.
• Availability for 15-week work cycles:
o 9 weeks onsite in the North
o 2 weeks remote work
o 4 weeks leave
Academic Requirements:
• Secondary 5 diploma or equivalent.
