The Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services (NRBHSS), incorporated under the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement
(section 15) as well as the Act respecting health services and social services, covers the entire territory located north of the 55th parallel.
Its mission is to adapt health and social services programs to the population’s needs and the region’s realities and to ensure efficient
organization of the resources made available to the Nunavik region.

MANAGEMENT AND SERVICE: ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DIRECTION, # 10002, INFORMATION TECHNO
DESCRIPTION
The incumbent provides technical support and maintenance for the IT infrastructure of Nunavik Regional Board
of Health and Social Services, including our two health centers and other service points. They ensure the smooth
operation of computer systems, continuity of services, and user support in both local and remote environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to users, troubleshooting issues related to computers, software, peripherals, and
network systems, both remotely and on-site;
• Install, configure, and update workstations, software, and peripherals according to the Board’s standards
and service requirements;
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of the IT infrastructure, including diagnosing, resolving, and
following up on incidents;
• Systematically document interventions, procedures, and best practices to ensure service continuity and
support user training;
• Participate in the continuous improvement of IT processes and tools to optimize system efficiency and
security;
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement new tools, software, and security protocols;
• Comply with IT security and information confidentiality policies in accordance with the Board’s requirements
and health and social services standards.
REQUIREMENTS
• Must hold a college diploma (DEC) in computer technology from a school recognized by the relevant ministry
or a college diploma (DEC) combined with a relevant undergraduate university certificate or a relevant
college certificate (AEC) of 800 hours or more;
• Must have a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience;
• For candidates benefiting from the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement, a combination of
experience and relevant training will be considered;
• Experience in the healthcare network will be considered an asset;
• Experience with backup and recovery technologies;
• Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite and collaboration tools (TEAMS, Planner, SharePoint);
• Concern for the implementation of solutions that meet the security principles;
• Knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, Active Directory, routers, Windows Server 2016/2019, Office 365;
• Virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V);
• Switch configuration and hardening;
• Familiar with 802.1x;
• Demonstrate autonomy, dynamism and teamwork skills;
• Available to work evenings and weekends, according to a schedule to be determined;
• Oral and written communication skills in two (2) of the three (3) languages used in Nunavik (Inuktitut, English,
French).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• Please note that interviews may take place during the week of March 16, 2026;
• Home base: Assignment based in the North (Kuujjuaq);
• Candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement shall receive priority.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Temporary full-time assignment (35 hours/week) for one year;
• Day shift;
• Salary according to the conditions of the MSSS and the qualifications of the candidate ($27.07/h to
$36.14/h).
