The work location is in Nunavik and the normal work schedule is 11 hours per day on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77
hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Drilling and Blasting Supervisor, the driller will be required to primarily operate a down-the-hole hammer
drill and will also be called upon to assist with blasting loading operations, as well as operate various machinery such as
a Bobcat and/or small loader and dump trucks (CAT 775 - 60t).
• He will carry out his tasks in accordance with current safety standards (work methods, existing work instructions, road
safety, and health and safety).
• He will perform the inspection of the equipment before and after his shift;
• As required, he will perform all other tasks requested by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have a diploma of professional studies in drilling and blasting;
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a driller;
• Experience operating down the hole (DTH) drills;
• Hold an explosive permit;
• Know the safe operation of drills;
• Have an acceptable level of experience on the operation of heavy equipment.
ASSETS
• Certification cards;
• Experience as a blaster helper;
• Hold a valid driving license, class 1 an asset.
• Due to frequent interactions with French-speaking team members, bilingualism (French/English) is an asset that
