LOCATION: NUNAVIK (FLY-IN / FLY-OUT)

Work schedule: The work location is in Nunavik and normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks of rest.
Your next challenge
Reporting to the environmental technician, the intern will:
▪ Participates in field sampling campaigns and in the implementation of the Nunavik Nickel Project's monitoring program;
▪ Sends samples to the laboratories, follows up on analyses and results and maintains the data banks;
▪ Maintains and ensures the proper functioning of the various measuring instruments;
▪ Participates in site supervision;
▪ Carries out any other task of an environmental nature.
The profile Sought
▪ Student enrolled in a college program in environmental science, mineral technology or environmental protection;
▪ Technical field experience;
▪ Good general physical condition to perform field work;
▪ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Assets
▪ Good knowledge of MS Office software;
▪ Bilingualism (French and functional English).

▪ Definite orientation towards health-safety and environment rules and guidelines;
▪ Ability to work in a multicultural environment and team;
▪ Resourceful, rigorous, dynamic, flexible, autonomous, independent and with a strong sense of work organization;
▪ Experience in a northern context (asset);
▪ Ability to work under pressure.
