The normal work schedule is on a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks of rest.

FUTURE CHALLENGES
Reporting to the Sr. Geophysicist, the geophysicist is responsible for:
• Supervise and carry out all the work of the planning and monitoring of geophysical surveys.
• Perform all interpretation work on geophysical surveys.
• Follow up on daily, weekly and monthly exploration work.
• Help in the management of exploration files.
• Perform data checks and validations.
• Collaborate with exploration colleagues to enhance understanding of the project's geology and generate new exploration targets.
• Process, integrate and interpret all surface and drilling geophysical data in order to identify new mineralized zones and thus participate in the renewal of the project's mineral resources.
• Produce numerical models (inversion) of the plate type (Maxwell);
• Contribute to the discovery of new mineralized zones and thus participate in the renewal of the project's mineral resources.
• Stay abreast of new technologies that could contribute to geological mapping and the detection of exploration targets.
• Perform any other tasks that the geophysicist deems necessary to ensure the efficient running of the exploration department's activities.
REQUIRED PROFILE
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in geosciences (geophysics or engineering geology).
• The Geologist must be a member in good standing of the Order of Geologists or Engineers of Quebec.
• Knowledge of the metallogeny associated with Ni-Cu magmatic sulphide deposits (an asset).
• Must have professional experience in geophysical electromagnetic methods (TDEM).
• Hold 3 to 5 years of experience in exploration geophysics.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite software, ArcMap, Maxwell, Leap Frog, Geoscience Analyst, Oasis Montaj;
• Bilingualism (French and English).
• Be skilled in verbal and written communication (reports, presentations, follow-up, etc.)
• Having a valid driver's license is essential.
