The work location is at Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours 

per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

FUTURE CHALLENGES 

Reporting to the Pit Supervisor, the Heavy Equipment Operator, primarily a truck driver, will also occasionally be required to 

operate the heavy machinery used at the mine. 

▪ He carries out his tasks while adhering to current safety standards (road safety and health and safety).

▪ He is responsible for inspecting his equipment before and after his shift.

▪ If necessary, he performs any other tasks requested by his supervisor.

PROFILE REQUIRED

▪ Having Have worked at least 2000 hours as a heavy machinery operator.

▪ Must be capable of operating at least 2 of the following equipment: Loader 966, compact loader, dozer D3 and D6, an

articulated dump truck 35T, a 40T mine truck, a 75T mine truck.

▪ Possession of a general explosives permit is mandatory.

▪ Has successfully completed a heavy equipment course or has experience deemed equivalent.

▪ Due to frequent interactions with French-speaking team members, bilingualism (French/English) is an asset that

facilitates and enhances our internal communications.
