The work location is in Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7
days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

FUTURE CHALLENGES
Reporting to the Surface Services Supervisor, the Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for:
• Drive different trucks (semi-trailer truck, fardier truck, vacuum truck, bus, fuel tanker, water tanker, sand truck, etc.);
• Operate heavy machinery such as D-8/6/3 tractor, wheel loaders, hydraulic shovel, 40-ton mining truck, telescopic mast
truck.
• Maintain the roads on the mine site with all types of heavy machinery specific to this task.
• He ensures that he inspects and conducts preventive maintenance on his equipment consistently.
• Perform all tasks related to airport services.
• If needed, performs all other tasks requested by supervisor.
PROFILE REQUIRED
• Hold a heavy equipment course (DEP) or any other diploma combined with experience deemed equivalent.
• Have a minimum of 6,000 hours of experience as a truck driver and 4,000 hours as a construction machinery operator.
• Experience in a northern environment.
• Hold an explosive permit.
• Hold a valid driver’s license class 1 (SAAQ).
