The normal work schedule is 11 hours per day on a 4-week paid rotation, consisting of 2 working weeks (77 hours per
week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 paid weeks off.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Director, HR & OHS, the Human Resources Business Partner will play a key role in supporting human resources
and labour relations activities at the site, working closely with the leadership team, managers and the Human Resources team.
The responsibilities are as follows:
• ` Advise and support managers in the day-to-day management of their teams and on a broad range of human resources and
labour relations matters;
• Partner with managers in handling complex employee matters, including discipline, performance, absenteeism, conflict and
workplace climate;
• Ensure the consistent application and interpretation of the collective agreement, company policies and applicable employment
and labour legislation;
• Build and maintain constructive relationships with union representatives and actively participate in labour relations committees;
• Manage grievances, conduct required investigations and contribute to the preparation of arbitration cases;
• Lead or support workplace investigations and advise managers in determining and implementing appropriate measures;
• Support managers in HR decision-making by recommending solutions that reflect the operational realities of the site and align
with organizational practices;
• Contribute to initiatives related to employee engagement and retention, talent development, succession planning, change
management and organizational development;
• Support employees with HR-related questions and direct them to the appropriate resources when required, including matters
related to payroll, benefits and work schedules;
• Ensure HR policies, programs and processes are effectively communicated and consistently applied;
• Participate in various HR projects and initiatives based on organizational needs;
• Perform any other related duties.
THE PROFILE SOUGHT
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources Management or a related field;
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an HR advisory role, including experience supporting management teams and
managing employee relations matters;
• Significant labour relations experience in a unionized environment;
• Experience in the mining or industrial sector, or a similar operational environment, is considered a strong asset;
• Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken;
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite;
• CHRP/CRHA or CIRC/CRIA designation is considered an asset.
