POSITION

Job Title : Income Tax Agent

Reports to: The Income Tax Manager in the Treasurer’s Department.

Location: Kuujjuaraapik, Umiujaq, Inukjuak, Akulivik, Kangiqsujuaq, Quaqtaq, Aupaluk, Tasiujaq, Kuujjuaq or Montreal

Status of Employment: Seasonal (Temporary), Full-time

Salary: $30/hour for new agents, $35/hour for returning agents

Deadline to Apply December 8, 2025

RESPONSIBILITIES (TRAINING IN TAXATION WILL BE PROVIDED)

  •  Assist beneficiaries with their notice of assessments
  •  Prepare individual income tax return for Nunavik Beneficiaries.
  •  Perform administrative duties related to the Income Tax Program.
  •  Participate in annual training sessions related to the Income Tax Program
  •  Must keep all client information confidential.
  •  Perform other related duties within the scope of the position or as requested by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

  •  High School Diploma and/or relevant work experience.
  •  Excellent communication skills in Inuktitut and English;
  •  Great computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.);
  •  Demonstrate the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
  •  Good organizational skills.
  •  Be reliable, punctual and autonomous.
  •  Ability to work under pressure.
