Pituvik Landholding Corporation is currently seeking for (2) two students that will work on the Innaarulik Community Barge Boat.

Location: Inukjuak

Duration: Summer - June to August 2026

Job Title: Innaarulik Barge Deckhand

Job Description: Under the direction of the Innaarulik Barge Captain and Co-captain has the following duties:

- Maintaining the boat and equipment

- Loading and unloading cargo

- Routine cleaning and maintenance task for the boat and equipment

- Heavy lifting and cargo handling

- Assisting with refueling gasoline, diesel and oil as required

- Supporting navigation and safety procedures

- Any other tasks requested by the captain and co-captain

Salary: $25.00/Hr (40 hours/week, 8:00AM to 5:00PM and over-time when required)

Requirements:

- Must be 14 years of age or older

- Student and returning to school next semester

- Able bodied and able to follow directions from the captain

- Punctual 

- Neat and organized work habits

- Good communication
