POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Interpretation Services Coordinator to

support the daily operations of our interpretation department. This role is ideal for an

individual who is eager to develop operational expertise in project coordination and grow

into a leadership position over time.

The Coordinator will work closely with senior leadership to manage interpretation

requests, coordinate logistics, and ensure smooth project execution. With demonstrated

performance and operational competence, this role has a clear pathway toward

advancement into a management position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and process incoming interpretation service requests

• Assist in assigning interpreters based on availability and qualifications

• Coordinate travel arrangements, including airfare and accommodations

• Set up and manage online meetings via platforms such as Zoom and Teams

• Maintain accurate records of projects, client communications, and interpreter

assignments

• Update and maintain the interpreter roster

• Support recruitment initiatives and training coordination

• Monitor project timelines and follow up to ensure completion

• Adapt to schedule changes and assist with last-minute adjustments

• Handle confidential information with professionalism

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–3 years experience in administrative support, logistics coordination, or project

coordination preferred

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

• Clear and professional communication skills

• Comfortable working with remote teams and digital systems

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Familiarity with Zoom, Teams, or similar platforms

• Proficiency in English required; French and/or Inuktitut considered assets

• Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Interpretation services can involve evolving schedules and time-sensitive coordination. The

successful candidate will be adaptable, responsive, and comfortable operating in a dynamic

environment.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE

SALARY RANGE

$60,000 – $75,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

BENEFITS

• Travel Benefit (Anywhere in the World): $10,000/year

• Housing Benefit: $10,200/year

• Isolation Premium (Nunavik-based): $10,000/year

• Gas/Cargo Allowance (Nunavik-based): $3,500/year

• RRSP Contributions (after 6 months): 6% of base salary

• Paid Vacation: 4 weeks + 2 weeks Christmas holidays

• Sick Leave: 2 weeks
