Working at the Inuulitsivik Health Centre (CSI) means being part of a dedicated team committed to improving the health, well-being, and living conditions of Inuit communities through accessible and integrated services. CSI employs over 1,100 staff and is part of Quebec's health and social services network, serving the Nunavik (Hudson Bay Coast Villages) region. It provides health and social services to approximately 8,000 people across seven communities in Hudson Bay (from Kuujjuarapik to Salluit). It also manages Ullivik, a facility in Dorval that hosts Inuit traveling to the south of the province for specialized healthcare.

Salary:
• $27.92 per hour

• Isolation premium:
o Without dependents: Between $221.92 and $261.79 per week
o With dependents: Between $391.18 and $461.52 per week, depending on the village
• Retention premium (Paratechnical, Auxiliary Services, and Trades Staff):
o Between $34.78 and $68.13 per week, depending on the village and seniority
• Cost of living premium:
o Between $58.40 and $188.72 per week, depending on the village

Key Responsibilities – Interpreter Aaniasiurtiapik – Nunavik (Hudson Bay Coast Villages)
Welcome, inform, refer, and support clients in Inuktitut.
• Ensure client comfort and address general needs (basic care, setting up equipment, etc.).
• Translate communication:
o From Inuktitut to French or English
o From English or French to Inuktitut for users and resource persons.

Requirements – Interpreter Aaniasiurtiapik – Nunavik (Hudson Bay Coast Villages)
Fluent in Inuktitut (spoken and written).
• High school diploma is an asset but not required.
