Logistec Stevedoring, a fast-growing company, is currently looking for a new team member to fill the position of labor at Deception Bay. Reporting to the superintendent, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations.

What your days look like as a labor:

• Follow your superior’s instructions;

• Act as a deckhand during the mooring of the ship or assist managers on the dock;

• Perform a visual verification of pipeline fittings during the unloading of diesel;

• Handle cargo arriving from ships (containers, big bags, general cargo);

• Install hatch covers on the ship;

• Ensure and perform rounds of the conveyors during the unloading of ores from the ship;

• Any other related tasks.

To be successful as a labor you must have:

• Experience in a similar position;

• Good manual capacity;

• Autonomy and resourcefulness;

• Ability to work in unfavorable climatic conditions.
