The normal work schedule is 9 hours per day, including the meal period, equivalent to 40 paid hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Supervisor, the Logistics Clerk is responsible for various warehouse tasks, concerning sea and air shipments.
Main responsibilities include:
• Receive materials from suppliers.
• Confirm the accuracy of part codes, count and identify them.
• Manage shipping errors by communicating with the various parties involved.
• Perform data entry and document filing in due form.
• Assist in the preparation of containers (maritime) or pallets (air).
• Perform any other tasks required in connection with the position.

• Ability to lift loads over 40 lbs.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining relationships with others.

• Presential reliability, given the importance of daily activities.
• Ability to enter data on computer.
• Ability to send e-mails with a good vocabulary.
• A clear preference for compliance with health and safety rules and regulations.
ASSETS
• Secondary school diploma (SSD) or equivalent.
• Bilingualism, oral and written, French and English.
• At least 2 years' experience in warehousing and/or with mining parts.
• Experience with hazardous materials shipments.
