The work location is at Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

FUTURE CHALLENGES 

Under the responsibility of the line supervisor, the Mobile Service Storekeeper is actively involved in the operational 

activities of the garage’s tool store. He will closely work with various trades in the garage but also with those in the 

warehouse department and external customers. More specifically, he will: 

• Respond quickly and efficiently to the client’s requests at the counter; 

• Ensure that the tools are well stored, clean and operational in the lockers and drawers, maintain the work areas tidy; 

• Ensure the availability of the equipment in store and restock them; 

• Receive and verify tools returned by users and store them properly; 

• Maintain a record of tools loaned to users, ensure that a return date is scheduled and verify that the borrower's contact information for a proper follow up; 

• Report any non-repairable tools to ensure that they are replaced; 

• Inspect all lifting accessories (slings, harnesses, shackles, etc.) and keep an up-to-date record; 

• Management of hazardous products; 

• Participate in receiving parts, managing kitting, managing the warehouse and delivering parts to mechanics;  

• Transport the required parts and tools from one workshop to another; 

• Ensure the periodic inspection of the garage's tools according to the inspection schedule; 

• Meet the company's health and safety requirements and recommendations; 

• Perform other related tasks associated with this position. 

PROFILE REQUIRED 

• Hold a high school diploma. 

• Minimum 2 years of experience in managing a tool store. 

• Good knowledge of MS Office suite software. 

• Hold a Valid class 5 driver’s licence. 

• Bilingualism (French and functional English) an asset.
