Your role
Reporting to the Community Coordinator, the Pivallianiq Agent works directly with tenants to
promote safe, healthy, and well-maintained housing. Through tenant visits and outreach activities,
the agent helps tenants improve housing conditions and better understand their housing
responsibilities.
This position plays an important role in supporting families and improving housing conditions
within the community.
Responsibilities
• Conduct tenant visits as part of the Pivallianiq program
• Promote safe housing practices and healthy living environments
• Provide guidance to tenants on basic home maintenance and cleaning practices
• Raise awareness about tenant responsibilities and available housing programs
• Complete evaluation forms and maintain records related to program activities
• Plan and organize tenant visits and follow-ups
• Participate in community outreach activities such as Housing Day events
• Collaborate with the Client Services team to support tenant outreach initiatives
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
Required Profile
• Secondary V diploma or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer service, or related field
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Fluency in at least two of the following languages: Inuktitut, English, French
• Valid driver’s license or willingness to obtain one when training is offered

Salary and benefits
This position offers a competitive hourly base salary ranging from $30.89 to $38.23, depending
on experience. Employees are eligible for an annual travel allowance of $13,719.30, an annual cost
of-living differential (CLD) of $12,178.11, and a food cargo allowance of $4,105.54 per year, in
accordance with current policies and eligibility criteria.
The position also includes 25 vacation days, 16 statutory holidays, and 12 sick days per year, with
the option to accumulate a bank of 70 hours (10 days). Group insurance and a pension plan with
a 7% employer RRSP contribution are also offered.
