The Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services (NRBHSS), incorporated under the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement (section 15) as well as the Act respecting health services and social services, covers the entire territory located north of the 55th parallel. Its mission is to adapt health and social services programs to the population’s needs and the region’s realities and to ensure efficient organization of the resources made available to the Nunavik region.

The regional board seeks to fill the following temporary assignment:

MANAGEMENT AND DEPARTMENT: EXECUTIVE DIRECTORATE, #60004-QUAL EVAL PERF ETHIC

DESCRIPTION

Under the authority of the Quality, Evaluation, Performance, and Ethics Coordinator, the incumbent, in collaboration with various internal and external partners as well as Indigenous Services Canada (ISC), performs the duties necessary to support the implementation of the Nunavik 2019-2029 multi-year agreement.

Your responsibilities also include:

• Act as liaison with various internal and external partners and ISC;

• Validate the eligibility of applications for various ISC programs;

• Plan and monitor various reporting requirements related to the ISC agreement;

• Provide support for service planning, implementation, and improvement;

• Coordinate and draft the status reports required by ISC and the NRBHSS;

• Represent the organization, if needed, at meetings related to various aspects of the job (travel may be required, if necessary);

• Take on specific mandates and act as a resource person for teams at regional institutions and the NRBHSS,

• with the aim of improving the continuity of service delivery in connection with the Nunavik 2019-2029 multi-year agreement;

• Perform any other related tasks assigned by their coordinator.

REQUIREMENTS

• For candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement, a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered;

• Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant academic discipline such as business administration, humanities, or social sciences;

• Have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a role involving the management of funding agreements and/or inter-institutional coordination and/or financial and operational accountability, including compliance with departmental standards and internal policies and/or strategic communication;

• Good knowledge of Indigenous Services Canada programs (an asset);

• Interpersonal skills, teamwork, and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders;

• Ability to apply program eligibility criteria and strong analytical skills;

• Energy, autonomy, and sense of responsibility;

• Excellent oral and written command of two of the three languages used in the region (Inuktitut, English, French).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Please note that interviews will potentially be conducted during the week of December 29th 2025;

• Home base: Telework. Please note that travel to the North may be required depending on training activities.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Temporary full-time assignment, 35 hours/week. Maternity leave replacement;

• Day shift;

• Salary in accordance with MSSS conditions and candidate qualifications ($30.27/h to $53.64/h).
