The Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services (NRBHSS), established under the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement
(Section 15) and the Act Respecting Health Services and Social Services, covers the entire territory north of the 55th parallel. Its mission is
to adapt health and social services programs to the needs of the population and the realities of the region, while ensuring the efficient
organization of the resources available to Nunavik.
The NRBHSS is seeking to fill the following permanent full-time position:

ORGANIZATIONS SUPPORT
DESCRIPTION
Under the authority of the Assistant Director of Planning and Programming, the incumbent will be responsible
for supporting the development of activities carried out by community organizations throughout the region.
The incumbent provides support related to the management of the budget allocated to regional community
organizations. They are responsible for accountability and reporting requirements in accordance with the various
funding parameters. They carry out related operations in compliance with the rules and guidelines governing the
use of funds allocated within the health network. They also provide support to community organizations
throughout the region to help them develop best management practices, particularly in the areas of governance,
human resources, and financial management.
The incumbent will also assume specific mandates within the Community Organizations Support team and act as
a resource person for NRBHSS departments and regional institutions, always with the objective of improving
continuity in service delivery.
The successful candidate will also be required to:
• Collaborate in the development of tools necessary to implement strategic orientations, prepare reports on
achievements, and participate in the systematic analysis of outcomes;
• Establish and maintain partnerships with various stakeholders;
• Support community organizations in the implementation of their activities;
• Collaborate with team members and other departments;
• Perform any other related duties as requested by their immediate supervisor.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Must possess a bachelor's degree in an appropriate university discipline such as administration, human
sciences, or social sciences.
For candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement, a combination of
relevant education and experience may be considered.
REQUIREMENTS
• Good understanding of clinical and organizational issues related to supporting community organizations;
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders;
• Reading and writing proficiency in two of the three official languages of Nunavik (French, English, Inuktitut);
• Good knowledge of the Nunavik health and social services network;
• Dynamic, self-motivated, and responsible;
• Good judgment and strong organizational and planning skills.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• Please note that interviews are expected to take place on or around August 6, 2026;
• Home base: Remote position with frequent travel to Nunavik communities.

WORKING CONDITIONS
• Permanent full-time position (35 hours per week);
• Day shift;
• Salary according to MSSS conditions and the candidate’s qualifications ($31.03/hour to $54.98/hour).
Northern Benefits: Employees who relocate to Nunavik may be eligible for various northern benefits, including
an attraction and retention premium, an isolation premium, and a food transportation allowance. For employees
hired from locations more than 50 km from Kuujjuaq, subsidized housing is provided, along with reimbursement
of moving and storage expenses. In addition, annual personal travel between Kuujjuaq and the point of hire is
included, along with other benefits.
