PERMANENT POSITION POSITION TO FILL 1 Code ME26-01

Work location is in Nunavik

The normal work schedule is on a rotation of 4 weeks paid i.e., 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks paid to rest.

FUTURE CHALLENGES

Reporting to the Senior Electrical Supervisor, the Programmer is responsible for:

• Makes changes to various process control programs;

• Resolves any problems related to programming;

• Test interface programming, drive, motor starter;

• Experiment with Ethernet communication, serial communication;

• Production support and electric department support;

• Meet company health and safety requirements and recommendations;

• Perform other related duties associated with this position.

PROFILE REQUIRED

• Hold a bachelor's degree in automated production, electrical engineering or any other related discipline;

• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in programming.

• Possess knowledge of Schneider programs (Vijeo Designer, Control expert, Somove);

• Knowledge in instrumentation;

• Electrical knowledge;

• Experience in troubleshooting and problem solving;

• Hold a valid class 5 driving license.

NICE TO HAVE 

• Good knowledge of MS Office suite software;

• SCADA Citect knowledge;

• Experience in the mining sector;

• Electrical certification;

• Bilingualism (French and functional English).
