The work location is at Nunavik, and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week,
7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks paid to rest.

Future challenges
Reporting to the Energy Supervisor/Planner, the mechanic-operator of the power plant:
• Operates the main power plant and satellite units.
• Performs preventive maintenance work on generators, lighting towers, and auxiliary equipment.
• Carries out repairs on generators, tower lights, and auxiliary equipment.
• Conducts diagnostics to determine the origin of a malfunction, repairs it, and restores equipment to service.
• Meet the company's health and safety requirements and recommendations.
• Performs other related tasks associated with the position.
Profile required
• Professional studies diploma (DEP) in diesel mechanics, construction machinery, power generators, or other
equivalent experiences.
• Minimum of 1 years of relevant experience or 2000 hours of work in the maintenance or repair of diesel
engines/power generators.
• Valid Class 5 driver's License.
Nice to have
• Possess the “C” electrical license.
• Work experience with power generators, diesel engines, electricity, electronics, and pressure equipment.
• Good knowledge of MS Office suite software.
• Bilingual (French and functional English).
