The Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services (NRBHSS), incorporated under the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement (section 15) as well as the Act respecting health services and social services, covers the entire territory located north of the 55th parallel. Its mission is to adapt health and social services programs to the population’s needs and the region’s realities and to ensure efficient organization of the resources made available to the Nunavik region.

The regional board seeks to fill the following temporary assignment:

MANAGEMENT AND SERVICE: EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT, # 60001, EXECUTIVE ADM

DESCRIPTION

As a specialist in administrative processes, you will accompany and support the Executive management in the execution of her department's projects and activities. You will assist her in her administrative functions and ensure that all relevant information is collected, maintained and disseminated. You will analyze needs, develop and provide professional techniques related to administrative systems in order to improve your department's operations.

Your responsibilities also include to:

• Identify administrative needs and areas for improvement;

• Propose and implement administrative techniques and systems to optimize operations;

• Monitor operations and ensure they run smoothly;

• Work with various departments to ensure coordination and smooth running of processes;

• Update procedures, forms and administrative documents;

• Administrative management of documents, files, contracts, etc.;

• Coordinate and organize meetings, conferences, etc.;

• Analyze data, produce reports and dashboards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must hold a bachelor's degree in administrative sciences, humanities, social sciences or another appropriate academic discipline;

• Several years' administrative experience, particularly in the health or social services sector;

• For candidates benefiting from the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement, a combination of experience and relevant training will be considered.

• Mastery of administrative methods and techniques, information systems, budget management and IT tools;

• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written French and English. Knowledge of Inuktitut will be considered an important asset;

• Ability to develop tools for monitoring, managing and sharing information;

• Ability to produce high-quality documents and write administrative texts (directives, procedures, minutes, etc.) in clear, simple language;

• Excellent judgment and a sense of responsibility;

• Organized, rigorous, autonomous, able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team;

• Sensitivity and adaptability to the cultural and logistical realities of Nunavik or remote regions.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Interviews will potentially take place during the week of October 27th;

• Work location: Position based in Kuujjuaq;

Candidates who are beneficiaries of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement shall receive priority.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Full-time temporary assignment of indefinite duration (35 hours/week);

• Day shift;

• Salary according to the conditions of the MSSS and the qualifications of the candidate ($28.02/hr to $51.76/hr).
