The normal work schedule is on a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week)
followed by 2 weeks of rest.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The supervisor reports to the departmental Chief of Services. His main responsibilities are:
• Organize and coordinate all activities related to the protection of people, sites and transportation (air, road and
sea), as well as emergency measures for Canadian Royalties.
• Develop, implement and maintain procedures, intervention plans and protocols in collaboration with the
department's team leaders.
• Investigate security events.
• Supports and coordinate the training of the fire brigade and mine rescue squad.
• Plan supervises the dispatchers, security agents, and fire technicians.
• The supervisor is responsible to ensure that the Laws and Regulations in force are applied and respected.
• Helps control the budget for security and emergency response activities.
• Participate in internal and external audits as well as support the follow up and implementation of action plans.
• Ensure the upkeep and continuous improvement of the Emergency Measures Plan.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Mine rescue training was recognized by the CNESST.
• Training in mining modules minier (module 1,2,3,4,5,7)’’;
• Training as a Firefighter 1, industrial firefighter or industrial fire brigade officer is an important asset.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in emergency response management, particularly in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of the laws and the rules in force regarding safety and emergency response.
• knowledge of all the MS Office suite.
• Bilingualism French and English (spoken and written).
