Kativik Ilisarniliriniq (KI) is a school board offering educational services in the 14 communities of
Nunavik.

We are searching for candidates to fill positions in generalist adult education in the English sector.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
Acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to master tasks relating to the operation of bulldozers, graders,
loaders, backhoe loaders, excavators and compact rollers; build and maintain roads and structures, perform
excavation work, load trucks and grade large areas.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Relevant training as well as a minimum of 5 years recent experience in the industry
• Competency card
The Board may, at its discretion, waive any or all the afore-mentioned qualification requirements if it finds a suitable
candidate who is a beneficiary of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement and who accepts, as a condition
of employment, to follow a training plan determined by the Board
REQUIREMENTS:
• Fluency in the two (2) official languages (English and French);
• Valid Driver’s license (class 3 or higher)
ASSETS:
• Brevet d'enseignement or a teaching permit from the province of Quebec or from a Canadian province.
• Knowledge and teaching of the MEES programs.
• Experience in teaching English and French as a second language.
CLASSIFICATION / SALARY / BENEFITS:
Salary & benefits as per the Teachers Collective Agreement of the Board: from $54,119 to $105,432 annually
depending on experience and qualifications. All benefits are prorated based on the percentage of the task.
