The work location is in Nunavik and the normal work schedule is 11 hours per day on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Supervisor, the Driller's main responsibilities will be:

▪ Carry out his tasks according to the safety standards in force (Work methods, AST in place and health and safety);

▪ Execute drilling work in the work sites;

▪ Ensure the inspection of his equipment before and after his shift;

▪ As needed, perform any other tasks requested by his supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

▪ DEP in Drilling or experience in a similar position;

▪ Have experience on Sandvik drills;

▪ Know the safe operation of drills;

▪ Have a valid general explosive permit.

▪ Have a valid driver's license is essential, class 5 license;

▪ Possess FMTM mining modules 1 to 5 and 7.

ASSETS

▪ Certification cards would be an asset;

▪ Having good knowledge of preventive mechanics.

▪ Due to frequent exchanges with French-speaking team members, bilingualism (French/English) is an asset to facilitate and enhance our internal communications.
