PERMANENT POSITION – UNIONIZED POSITION TO FILL 3 Reference MI26-03

HOURLY RATE 39,92 $ DEADLINE TO APPLY JANUARY 22, 2026

The work location is in Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours 

per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Reporting to the Supervisor, the main responsibilities of the Underground Services Miner will be:

▪ He performs his tasks according to the safety standards in effect (road safety and health and safety).

▪ He inspects his equipment before and after his shift.

▪ Responsible for the descent of the underground material and the maintenance of the refuge chambers.

▪ If necessary, he will perform any other tasks requested by his supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

▪ Must be able to operate at least 2 of the following equipment: Boom truck, Scissor Lift, Lube Truck, Toyota Jeep.

▪ Must have a minimum of two years of underground work experience.

▪ Possess a high school diploma (DES).

▪ Possess FMTM mining modules 1 to 5 and 7.

▪ Possess a class 1 driver's license.

▪ Possess an explosives permit is mandatory.

▪ Have successfully completed a heavy equipment course or have experience deemed equivalent.

▪ Good knowledge of preventive mechanics is an asset.

▪ Due to frequent interactions with French-speaking team members, bilingualism (French/English) is an asset to 

facilitate and improve internal communications.
