HOURLY RATE FROM 44,56 TO 50,36$ PER HOUR

The work location is in Nunavik and the normal work schedule is 11 hours per day on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Under the supervision of the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the Welder will be responsible for the following duties: 

• Execute all types of welding work such as dozer blade, excavator bucket, truck 
• Draws, cuts, assembles and welds metal parts according to plans or determined data by using appropriate tools. 
• Chooses and uses metals and appropriate alloys. 
• Maintains and repairs welding equipment and reports any defects. 
• Uses and fills all documentation necessary for the follow-up of his work and writes inspection reports. 
• Submits to his immediate superior any improvement in the working process with the aim of optimizing the work. 
• Ensures compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations of his workplace. 
• Performs all other related tasks. 

QUALIFICATIONS  

ASSETS  

• Experience in the mining industry. 
• Due to frequent interactions with French-speaking team members, bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset to facilitate and improve internal communications.
