The normal work schedule is on a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks worked (84 hours per week, 7 days a week)
followed by 2 weeks of rest.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the project geologist, the wildlife supervisor will be responsible for accompanying geophysical teams in the field. He will act as wildlife supervisor and first responder in emergency situations. The position involves working in the tundra and requires the ability to travel long distances by snowmobile. He will be responsible for:
▪ Scan work areas for possible animal threats.
▪ Escort work crews during field trips.
▪ Act as first responder if the situation requires it.
▪ Maintain marked snowmobile trails
▪ Ensure that survival camps are in good condition and comply with regulations.
▪ Performs all other duties as required be the position.
QUALIFICATIONS
▪ The applicant must have a firearms licence (possession/acquisition).
▪ Must have a good knowledge of the use of a GPS – (mandatory).
▪ Remote location survival course (an asset) ;
▪ Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
▪ Possess a valid driver’s license is essential.
ASSETS
▪ Firearms license (possession/acquisition).
▪ Snowmobile driving experience
▪ Driver’s license class 5
▪ Bilingual (French and English).
